The Acting President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, received today in a meeting the Acting Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Eva Palatova, from whom she received the report of the European Union Expert Mission for the 2025 parliamentary elections, as well as the evaluation report for the municipal elections held in October and November of that same year.
During the meeting, it was said that these electoral processes demonstrate Kosovo's democratic maturity, while Haxhiu emphasized that the findings and recommendations presented in the report will be carefully reviewed and addressed responsibly.
"Today I received in a meeting the Acting Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Eva Palatova. During the meeting, she submitted the report of the European Union Expert Mission for the 2025 parliamentary elections, as well as the report on the assessment mission for the municipal elections held in October and November 2025."
"We agreed that these electoral processes were evidence of Kosovo's democratic maturity. I assured Ms. Eva Palatova that the findings and recommendations presented in the evaluation reports will be carefully reviewed and addressed responsibly, in order to further strengthen electoral processes in Kosovo. Kosovo remains committed to democratic standards, the rule of law and its European path," she wrote on Facebook.
