Also known as the "miracle plant," neem has versatile health benefits, including antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties.

Neem (neem, lat. Azadirachta indica) is a tree of the Meliaceae family native to India, and is widespread in parts of Africa, Australia, and Central and South America, where it is often considered a weed.

The Latin name of the Azadirachta indica tree comes from the Persian name Azad Diracht, which translates as "the tree that cures 40 diseases." In India, it is considered sacred and is called "the tree that has as many qualities as God himself."

Every part of this tree has medicinal value – from the flowers, fruits and seeds to the twigs, seeds and roots, it has been used in India for over 2000 years, and in other parts of the world, it has only gained importance in recent decades.

The US National Academy of Sciences called it a tree for "solving global problems" and the UN called it the "tree of the 21st century."

Often used in powder, oil, or tincture form, this bitter-tasting woody spice possesses a number of impressive properties that work wonders for health.

Agricultural pest control:

Neem seed oil is often used as a natural insecticide. Diluted with water or oils such as coconut, it can be applied to crops to repel pests such as aphids, moths, and mites.

Prevents and treats skin problems: Neem has antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties that make it useful for skin care. Soaps, creams, or oils with it are often used to treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other skin problems.

Dental hygiene: Neem-infused foods, oil, or pastes are often used in oral care. Its antibacterial properties can help reduce bacteria in the mouth, reduce bad breath, and maintain healthy gums.

Immune system support: Neem has properties that support the immune system. Dietary supplements with extracts can be used to strengthen the body and increase resistance to disease.

Parasite Control in Pets: Neem oil can be applied to pets to prevent fleas, ticks, and other parasites. In addition, shampooing with it can help maintain a healthy coat and skin in pets.

Digestive Support: Neem can provide relief from digestive problems. Leaf extracts help stimulate digestion, reduce bloating, and relieve intestinal problems like constipation.
