Recent political developments in the country have prompted numerous reactions following President Vjosa Osmani's decision to dissolve the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
Regarding this issue, the former President of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, Enver Hasani, has reacted, criticizing this decision during a statement on the "Politiko" show.
According to Hasani, such a decision does not make sense without prior consultations with political actors and relevant institutions.
"It makes no sense to dissolve the parliament on your own, without any consultation with any political force and without any consultation with the head of government. You are dissolving the sovereign of the people, here you must be careful in maintaining constitutional deadlines," declared Hasani.
He emphasized that in such cases, institutions must show special care in respecting the procedures and deadlines set by the Constitution.
