Bayern Munich star Harry Kane will miss today's match against Borussia Mönchengladbach, but manager Vincent Kompany seems confident the Englishman will recover in time for the Champions League clash against Atalanta next week.

During the pre-match press conference, Kompany said: "He (Kane) has a knock on his calf and he's still not recovered. It's just a knock, it's nothing serious at the moment, but maybe he needs another day to be ready. We're pretty relaxed. Of course we'd like to have Harry available, but these things happen."
Kompany added that Hiroki Ito and Alphonso Davies will also miss today's league match.
The fact that Kane only needs an extra day to recover from this minor injury suggests that he is expected to be fit for the Champions League match against Atalanta next week.
The Bundesliga giants will play away against the Serie A side in the first leg of the round of 16 on March 10, while the return leg will take place at the Allianz Arena on March 18.
Kane, 32, is Bayern Munich's top scorer this season with 45 goals in 37 games.
