PDK Chairman Bedri Hamza said that his party's request for the Vetevendosje Movement to reach a consensus on the election of the President has been clear from the beginning that there should be a political agreement.
Hamza said that in the conversations they had, they were once told one name, then it was changed, and that in the end they came up with two names.
"We did not have a prior political agreement, the name was requested, initially they said that there would be no names for the political entity, they proposed a name, then they changed that name, then they came up with two names. I also noticed it and now it is clear that there was no full political will from the winning party to give the country institutional stability."
Hamza said that if he had not liked the agreement with his party, Vetëvendosje "would have had the opportunity with the Democratic League, it could have with the President, and moreover, it did not even invite AAK to the talks."
He said that PDK will respect any decision the Constitutional Court makes regarding the complaint sent to it regarding the president's case. /Express/
