Elisa Spiropali, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, has reacted regarding the situation between Israel and Hamas, saying that the latter's decision to release the hostages ''ignites a flame of hope, fragile but precious''.
She also praised the efforts of US President Donald Trump, which, she said, have brought the Middle East closer to peace, writes Gazeta Express.
"Albania welcomes this step with an open heart and unwavering faith in reconciliation, and appreciates the efforts of President Donald Trump that have brought the Middle East closer to the horizon of long-awaited peace," she wrote, among other things.
Spiropali also said that she hopes that this situation marks the dawn of a new chapter.
