Pep Guardiola has praised Jeremy Doku's explosive recent form as Manchester City prepare for a crucial Premier League clash against Brentford.

Asked about the secret to the 23-year-old's quick adaptation to the Premier League, Guardiola responded with humor.
The City manager jokingly said that a player's success is always attributed to the manager when things go well.
However, beyond his humorous comment, Guardiola emphasized that Doc's contribution goes beyond statistics in attack.

"The coach always. When the player plays well it's because of the coach. When he plays badly it's because of them," Guardiola told reporters. "I'm very happy. I'm very happy that he has made this step and this impact, in one-on-ones. But not only the goals and assists, he continues to push defensively. Jeremy has been exceptional this season."
The City boss also reflected on the challenge posed by Brentford as they look to win the Premier League title this season.
"Very good," he added. "It's not easy to replace Thomas Frank, so it's an extraordinary season. It's clear what they do and it's difficult to challenge them, but at the same time there are still three games left and we will fight."
