The government has presented a support package for the consequences of the fires, offering assistance for agriculture, housing and other needs. The plan was presented by the ministers of Defense, Interior, Agriculture and the National Environmental Protection Agency.
The fires have mainly affected Vlora, with 17,500 hectares burned, and damage has been reported to 12 homes, 3 stables and a religious building.
