The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is the American giant's third foldable phone and promises to be stronger and more durable than all the others, as the first foldable phone with full water and dust resistance, while also combining advanced AI and a flexible camera system.
This model builds on the success of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold by eliminating the gears in the folding hinge, which previously made it susceptible to dust - a problem that has plagued all foldable phones so far.
The outer screen is slightly larger due to thinner bezels, while the inner and outer screens are slightly brighter. When closed, the phone is well-shaped for use as a normal phone, while when opened, two apps can be used simultaneously on the large inner screen.

However, the phone is heavy and feels bulky compared to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, weighing in at 258 grams. It uses Google's Tensor G5 processor, 16GB of RAM, and at least 256GB of internal storage, offering fast and stable performance for most tasks. However, for high-frame-rate gaming, Snapdragon-powered rivals offer more.
Screens and battery
External display: 6.4 inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED
Internal display: 8 inch 120Hz OLED
Battery life varies greatly depending on screen usage. On light days, with about 5 hours of active screen use, it lasts 38-40 hours. On more intense days, mainly with 5G and indoor screen use, it lasts about 28 hours, ending the day with 25% battery.

AI and advanced features
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold runs Android 16 and includes Magic Cue, a small assistant that provides contextual information and real-time suggestions from Google apps. The Gemini chatbot can follow your actions and apps, while the new real-time translation system reproduces the voice of the person speaking.
The internal display benefits from a taskbar that makes it easy to use apps in split screen and can be extended beyond the screen for greater flexibility. Additionally, the device offers a one-year subscription to Google AI Pro with 2TB of cloud storage.

Camera and multimedia
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold has a similar camera system to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Pixel 10:
48MP main camera
10.5MP ultra-wide
10.8MP telephoto with 5x zoom
Two 10MP selfie cameras
The cameras offer good quality for photos and videos, although they don't quite reach the level of the standard Pixel 10 Pro. Additional features include dual-screen use and a Made You Look feature for special selfies.
Price and finish
Price: £1,749 (€1,899/$1,799/A$2,699).
For comparison, the Pixel 10 Pro XL costs £1,199 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 costs £1,799.

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is a slight upgrade over the 9 Pro Fold, but it sets a new standard for foldable durability, being dust and water resistant. The internal display needs to be handled with care, but the phone offers excellent performance, advanced AI, and a large tablet-like display.
Pros: phone and tablet in one, water and dust resistant, Qi2 support, large screen, good performance, 5x zoom camera, powerful AI, Google AI Pro for one year, 7 years of updates.
Cons: very expensive, more fragile than a normal phone, thick and heavy, camera does not reach the standard Pixel 10 Pro, battery could be better, fewer functions for advanced users. /GazetaExpress/
