Gordon Stipic-Wipfler, the agent of Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, is expected to travel to Istanbul to hold talks with Galatasaray, amid speculation about a possible departure of his client from the Nerazzurri.
Recent reports indicate that Galatasaray are interested in transferring the Turkish national team captain, who could be allowed to leave Inter if the right conditions are created this summer.
Although Calhanoglu has been one of Inter's key players in recent seasons and last year rejected an offer from Bayern Munich, the Italian club are now open to considering offers for some of the squad's stars, following their shock 5-0 defeat to PSG in the Champions League final at the end of May.
According to reports from Calciomercato.com, Calhanoglu's agent will travel to Istanbul to discuss the possibility of the player's transfer to Galatasaray.
There is currently no official offer yet, but reports on Sunday highlight that Galatasaray are very interested in reviewing Calhanoglu's situation and his future at Inter.
The 31-year-old midfielder still has two years remaining on his current contract with Inter, which expires in the summer of 2027.
