The Kosovo Olympic Committee has announced that another sport will be included in the program of the Mediterranean Games "Prishtina 2030".
KOK has announced that futsal will be included in the program of this event, reported "Gazeta Express".
This decision was made by the Executive Committee of the International Mediterranean Games Committee, at a meeting held in Ljubljana.
"The sport of futsal will be part of the program of the Mediterranean Games Prishtina 2030. The decision was made by the Executive Committee of the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games (ICMG), at the meeting held in Ljubljana, Slovenia," the KOK post states.
Meanwhile, ICMG has also announced the reason for making this decision.
"After productive discussions with FIFA, the ICMG has confirmed the inclusion of futsal for both men and women in the official sports program of the 2030 LM to be held in Pristina. Futsal will officially replace U21 football," the ICMG decision states./GazetaExpress/
