Former Minister of Finance, Haki Shatri, has harshly criticized the Energy Regulatory Office's decision to force businesses to switch to the free energy market, describing it as harmful to the country's economic development.
He said that this approach by ERO does not take into account the economic realities in Kosovo and is pushing the private sector towards financial collapse.
"In economic development, this is harmful, but the ORR has insisted on moving to the free market. Businesses are complaining that they may go bankrupt, but on deaf ears, these tendencies seem to want to destroy businesses and turn them into communism. This issue is illogical. They want to destroy the economic system with camouflaged methods," Shatri told "Front Online".
