Serbian judicial authorities have ordered 30 days of detention in Belgrade for the citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, Mit'hat Llozhani, who was detained three days ago by Serbian police.
The news was confirmed to PortalinMagazine.com by Llozhani's relatives.
"Today they ordered him to be detained for 30 days and took him to Belgrade," a relative of the former KLA soldier is quoted as saying.
Llozhani, a former KLA soldier, was traveling from Germany to Kosovo via Serbia when he was stopped and his veteran's card was found during a search.
The Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the Liaison Office in Serbia has notified the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia of the case, and has sent verbal notes to the diplomatic missions of the Quint countries accredited in Serbia, with the aim of ensuring the engagement of international partners in protecting the rights and security of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
