Former Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati has written about President Vjosa Osmani's decision to dissolve the Parliament and announce new elections after consultations with political parties.
Bushati said such a scenario should have been avoided.
"The newly formed Kosovo parliament has dissolved after failing to secure the necessary quorum to begin the procedure for electing a new president. Kosovo is heading towards early elections, the third time in a year and a half. A scenario that should have been avoided!", he wrote.
The newly constituted 🇽🇰 Parliament has been dissolved after the failure to secure the quorum needed to trigger the procedure for the election of the new president. 🇽🇰 is heading to snap elections, the third time within a year and a half. A scenario that should have been avoided!
