The declaration of assets by the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, who reported only 16 euros in his bank account, has prompted numerous reactions and comments among citizens.

Immediately after the news broke, reactions and ironies from citizens began on social networks. Citizens wrote about Albin Kurti's "magical" mathematics, where rent increases and savings disappear.

While some wrote that they were thinking of giving him his pension because it wasn't even enough for coffee, there were those who proposed starting a campaign to raise money for Kurti.

Some asked how he would spend the night and the month, while others published photos with MP and former Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Hisen Durmishi, from whom he was asking for money. In other photos, he was seen gambling and asking for money, while writing about his apartment in Oslo worth 530 thousand euros.

Meanwhile, citizens have expressed distrust and skepticism regarding this statement, describing it as unconvincing and far from economic reality. They consider this as a game and mockery of the Prime Minister with the people.

One of the citizens, Mehmet Çollaku, said that the statement does not seem sincere, while making ironic remarks about Kurti's statement.

Çollaku: Let's raise another 100 euros to get him out of the crisis

"Generally, it is seen that it is an insincere statement. That is why we have, as I said, a wide dissatisfaction. We who are pensioners, but the moment we saw his statement, we gathered and said, let's gather 100 euros for him as pensioners and get him out of the crisis," said Çollaku.

Citizen: Prime Minister for sin

"Oh my god. How is that a minister? With 16 euros... The Prime Minister with 16 euros... How did he come to say that... By God, I'm a pensioner and I can't afford 200 euros to drink a tea, a coffee, go out a little. And with 16 euros, I don't know how... It's not... it's not even worth talking about. Not even heard of in the media," he said.

Meanwhile, Kadri Bekteshi said that such a statement is not credible and may have been made in the form of mockery.Bekteshi: Kurti has made "jokes" with citizens

"In my opinion, it is impossible to make that statement that a simple person can have even more, not Albin Kurti. That Albin Kurti can have ten times what he said, twenty times, in my opinion... He has already made a joke with the citizens and with all of us. That a person who receives social benefits has more in his account than what he said," said Bekteshi.

According to him, such a statement is not appropriate for a high-ranking state official.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has declared his assets to the Anti-Corruption Agency. According to his annual declaration, he has declared cash in his name of 16.41 euros - cents, while in the name of his wife 19 thousand and 500 euros derived from salary and inheritance from his parent, while 2000 euros are savings of his daughter and another 50 euros of his daughter, who declares in the form that they come from family members.

Prime Minister Kurti has also declared his real estate, which includes his wife's apartment, worth 530.000 euros.

Kurti's statement also shows that his apartment rent has increased by 100 euros, even though his savings have decreased.

In this declaration, Kurti declared his wife's loan with a remaining value of 160.000 euros, and listed the rent for the apartment that he now pays at 350 euros, up from 250 euros he was paying a year ago.
