Kosovo Police have announced that they have arrested five people today, who are suspected of having together managed to forge documents by presenting themselves as owners of several plots located in a village in Ferizaj, Gazeta Express reports.
Furthermore, the police added that one of the Kosovar male suspects is suspected of having committed the criminal offense of 'abuse of official position or authority', while the other four suspects are suspected of the criminal offenses of 'forgery of documents' and 'legalization of false content', 'purchase, acceptance or concealment of items obtained by committing a criminal offense'.

The Kosovo Police, respectively the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption (DHKEK) Ferizaj, after several months of investigative work on 28.04.2026, implemented the court order, where in coordination with the competent prosecution and in cooperation with other relevant police units, it carried out a search warrant in 3 different locations, in the regions of Ferizaj, Gjilan and Pristina.
Regarding the case, checks were carried out with the aim of securing evidence and testimony, where five Kosovar male suspects were arrested, who are suspected of having collaborated with each other and had managed to forge documents by presenting themselves as owners of several plots located in a village in Ferizaj.
With these actions, one of the Kosovar male suspects is suspected of having committed the criminal offense of 'abuse of official position or authority', while the other four suspects are suspected of the criminal offenses of 'falsification of documents', Article 390 and 'legalization of false content', 'purchase, acceptance or concealment of items obtained by committing a criminal offense', actions for which during the implementation of the search warrant, several pieces of evidence/documents-photos were obtained that will be part of the evidence in the case.
Regarding the case, the suspects were interviewed in the presence of defense attorneys, and after the interview, by decision of the prosecutor, they were detained for 48 hours.
