Fermín López has officially confirmed that he will not be part of the World Cup, after successfully undergoing surgery that will keep him out of action for a long period.
The Barcelona midfielder is expected to be out for a minimum of two months, while according to reports the recovery period could last even longer, so that the player is fully ready for the start of the new season.
