It was a very difficult day and a small mistake in the quarterfinals cost her the gold medal, but Fazliu was not ready to leave without a medal.
"Of course it wasn't the medal I came for, but I'm still happy to win bronze today," she said.
For the bronze medal, she faced Nuana Silva of Brazil and showed great confidence in the match, handling the match methodically.
"I felt really good. I know when I make this catch and I'm in this position, I'm going to throw someone out and get a run."
