Sinjali's sources within the Police indicate that the victim IM, around 44 years old, called around 16:00 and reported that his father, AM, around 72 years old, attempted to attack him with a chair and an axe, but he managed to leave the scene without sustaining any injuries.
The police immediately intervened and interviewed the suspect in the presence of the defense attorney. According to information from Sinjali, AM is a repeat offender in domestic violence.
By order of the State Prosecutor, the case has been initiated as "Domestic Violence" and will be handled in regular procedure.
Investigations are ongoing, while authorities are pursuing legal measures to prevent the recurrence of such cases.
