Behar Preniqi from Obiliq was arrested by Serbian authorities while returning from Germany to Kosovo.
A family member of his told IndeksOnline that he was detained on the pretext of being part of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
"The reason for his detention is not valid, as he was a child when the war in Kosovo took place. There is no reason for his detention. We are very sorry, we have no information," she said.
She further indicated that Behar's wife has spoken with Kosovo institutions and appealed to them to do everything possible for his release.
Preniqi was visiting his family in Germany when he was arrested by Serbian authorities on his way back to Kosovo.
