The Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) has shared a special post – with several photos shared by FIFA – on social media about the success achieved by the Kosovo national team in the last decade.

It has now been ten years since Kosovo was admitted to UEFA and FIFA, with the Dardanian national team finally being allowed to play in official matches.

In July 2016, the Kosovo national team was ranked 190th in the FIFA rankings, while after the success of last year, but also those before, the "Dardans" are currently positioned in 78th place in this ranking.

On this occasion, the home of world football, FIFA, has shared four photographs, promoting the Kosovo national team and its success.

"The Kosovo national team has made historic progress in the FIFA world rankings, reaching the 78th position, which is the highest record so far! From the 190th position in July 2016, the Dardans have made an extraordinary rise thanks to the work and dedication of our players and this rise was promoted in a post with four photos on the social networks of the home of world football," the FFK writes on "Facebook".

"The future is bright," the FFK continued in its post.

"Kosovo continues to rise. It has achieved its highest ever ranking in the FIFA rankings. Kosovo entered the FIFA rankings ranked 190th in the world in July 2016. Since then, the Kosovo national team has continued to rise. Despite narrowly missing out on a place in the World Cup, it rose to 78th position, its highest ever. Kosovo's impressive performance in World Cup qualifying helped it reach this position, finishing second in its qualifying group and defeating Slovakia in the play-off semi-finals, before being defeated by Turkey in the final," FIFA wrote in the four photos shared by the FFK on Facebook./Express newspaper/
