Rapper Kleviol Ahmeti, known by the stage name "Cllevio", has been released from prison after about six months since his extradition from the United Arab Emirates to Albania.
According to sources close to the artist, it is learned that he is already out and is expected to return to social media this evening, where he will share more details about recent developments.
Last month, Cllevio was transferred from his cell to the regional hospital due to a health complication that required specialized medical intervention outside the prison.
The artist was extradited from Dubai on October 25th of last year, after serving six months in prison in the United Arab Emirates. In addition to music, he is also widely known as an active and often controversial figure on social media.
Albanian authorities had announced that the 39-year-old was internationally wanted, after the Court of Appeal in Tirana had imposed a security measure of "prison arrest" on him in 2024 for the criminal offense of "stalking". He is accused of having physically and through social networks persecuted rapper Rigels Rajku (Noizy) and his family for several years.
Also, in 2024, the Fier Court sentenced him to 9 months in prison for the criminal offense of "removing a prisoner from his place of residence."
