The central event marking Europe Day, which this year is organized under the slogan "Our Europe. Stronger Together", will be held in the City Park in Skopje today, reports "Europe House Skopje".
As announced, the official speech at the event will be delivered by the Ambassador of the European Union, Mihalis Rokas, at 12:00 on the "Guaca" stage. Messages will also be conveyed in the announced statements to the media by Ambassador Rokas, Minister for European Affairs Bekim Sali and the Mayor of the City of Skopje, Orce Gjorgjievski.
"The program includes games and entertainment activities organized by the member states of the European Union, a food corner and stands with recycled products. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about plants and urban greenery, as well as get acquainted with local ecological businesses. The celebration will be enriched with a musical program and live performances by the dance company "Eureka", Dina Jashari, Zvada, "Konkering Lion", "Dapunk i Dabl G", Emili Nas and Martina Peneva. Europe Day will end at sunset, when the building of the Government of North Macedonia will be illuminated in blue," the statement reads.
The program is organized by the Delegation of the European Union, the Europe House network and the embassies of the EU member states. The Ministry for European Affairs and local authorities are partners in the activities that will be held throughout the country during the month of May, while the full program is available on the social networks and websites of the organizers.
