Espanyol coach Manolo Gonzalez spoke ahead of tomorrow's match against Mallorca.
As part of the 28th round of La Liga, Espanyol will be the guest of Mallorca at "Son Moix", with the match being played at 14:00 PM.
In the press conference before this match, the Espanyol coach spoke specifically about Kosovo national team striker Vedat Muriqi.
He said that Muriqi has been in good shape for several years now.
"He is a very strong player. He has had very good performances for several years now," said coach Gonzalez.
He emphasized that, even when studying his movements, covering him still remains very challenging.
"It's like with Messi, you know he's going to dribble down the left and he still does it. We have to keep him away from the goal as much as we can because he's capable of scoring goals from any position," he said.
Vedat Muriqi has scored 18 goals in this La Liga season, being the second best scorer in the Spanish football elite, after Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe./Express newspaper/
