The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has congratulated Kosovo on its independence anniversary.
In a letter sent to President Vjosa Osmani, Erdogan expressed Turkey's support for Kosovo.

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has received a letter of congratulations from the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of Independence. In his message, President Erdoğan reaffirmed Turkey's continued support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Kosovo, as well as for the advancement of its position in the international arena. President Erdoğan also emphasizes his country's commitment to peace and stability in the region," the announcement says.
