US Attorney General Pam Bondi has announced the release of all files related to the case against the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, in accordance with Section 3 of the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

In a letter to Congress, Bondi included a final list of about 300 high-profile individuals mentioned at least once in the declassified documents. The list includes names like Bill Gates, Kim Kardashian, Beyoncé, Diana Ross, Melinda Gates and Meghan Markle, as well as other public and political figures, including former President Barack Obama's family.

The release of the documents, carried out in stages between December 2025 and January 2026 by the Donald Trump administration, includes millions of emails, photographs and documents related to the Epstein investigation and proceedings. Authorities stressed that the mention of a person in the file does not imply guilt or involvement in criminal activity.

The list also includes political and artistic figures such as Bruce Springsteen and Prince Andrew, who stepped down from royal duties after controversy surrounding the issue. Bondi's deputy, Todd Blanche, explained that the names appear in a "wide variety of contexts."

The Epstein Files Transparency Act, signed into law on November 19, 2025, requires the release of all unclassified records related to Jeffrey Epstein and his convicted accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell. Only information that protects the identities of victims, active investigations, and child abuse is redacted under the law.

The documents include flight logs, travel, individuals involved in Epstein's criminal activities, immunity agreements, internal Justice Department communications, as well as documentation related to Epstein's detention and death.

Bondi explained that the full publication is considered the official closure of the declassification process and aims for full transparency towards public opinion, while respecting the safety of the victims.
