Emilian Sakuli with Audi RS3 in the AWD Division and Rinor Vërbovci with Seat Ibiza in the FWD/RWD Division are the winners of the first Drag Race competition for this year.
In both divisions, the rivalry was great, as was the number of participants.
With 129 contestants registered, this weekend marked a record in the history of Drag Race in Kosovo.
Sakuli won the AWD Division by covering the 402-meter distance in 09.701 seconds, with an average speed of 246 kilometers per hour.
In the final, he faced Ardian Begaj, the latter was even better in the first run, but in the second he made a mistake by entering the red zone, which cost him a disqualification, considering that he had made this mistake twice before during the race.
However, Begaj was crowned with the cup for the best time, as he reached the finish line in 09.475 seconds, with an average speed of 258 km/h.
Meanwhile, the winner of the FWD/RWD Division, Rinor Vërbovci, had a time of 11.206 seconds, with an average speed of 219 km/h.
Also quite attractive was the competitor Vjollca Rifati with the Audi RS7, who was on track to be on the podium, but withdrew from the race due to a problem with the car.
