Egi Gjyzeli has shared one of the most difficult periods of her life, recounting her son's health problem, which came as a result of incorrect medication.
Invited to the show "Live From Tirana", she revealed that her son, at the age of 18 months, faced a serious condition after being wrongly treated for epilepsy, although he did not suffer from this disease. According to her, it all started with a misinterpreted analysis, which brought serious consequences for the child's health.
Gjyzeli said she was forced to send her son abroad for treatment, where he underwent therapies to cleanse his body of the medications he had taken by mistake. Although his condition improved within months, the emotional impact of the experience lasted for years.
She described this period as a “hard blow,” which changed her way of thinking and confronted her with deep fears. “Age doesn’t make you older, but difficulties do,” she said, adding that the experience made her stronger.
According to her, the emotional recovery was long and required continuous effort, while one of the main supports during this time has been physical activity.
Her story comes as a personal testimony to the importance of accurate diagnosis and timely response, as well as the strength to cope with difficult situations in life. /GazetaExpress/
