Recent price increases and increases are also finding their way into the Pristina market.

Citizens are complaining about difficulties in dealing with products, while merchants are justifying every recent increase.

Trader who sells fruits and vegetables, Patriot Maqestena, says that this year prices have never been higher.

The farmer who sells a set of 30 village eggs for 6 euros complains that they have all become more expensive.

"Tomatoes are 3 euros, chili peppers are 3 euros. Cucumbers are cheaper because they are coming from Albania. Those that come from Albania are a little cheaper. It is obvious that the interest of citizens has also faded due to the expensive prices, they did not want to buy them... And the prices of fruits have been the same, they have not changed," said Maqestena.

Meanwhile, cigarettes have also become more expensive. According to trader Hasan Matoshi, this is also happening due to government policies.

"If electricity costs a little more, if oil costs a little more, they immediately raise prices... There is a 50 euro excise tax on a pack of cigarettes, this is not right," said Matoshi.

This situation did not leave clothing sales untouched.

Rrahim Govori also complains about the lack of interest in buying clothes and, at the same time, that of consumers.

"Currently prices are rising, and there are no customers... The work is overwhelming, but now we are trying to get the job done," Govori added.

On the other hand, citizens are blaming the government.

Muharrem Metolli emphasizes that they are only looking out for themselves, not caring at all about the people.

"These people don't think about anyone, only about themselves... Instead of helping each other, no, these people only think about themselves," Metolli continued.

Meanwhile, citizen Veton Kika considers this price situation a problem, because according to him, you can't make it with a monthly salary.

"Prices are very expensive, they have changed a lot, we are trying to afford it... It's a problem because you can't make it with one salary," said Kika.

Zeqir Govori is also optimistic about overcoming these circumstances.

"It's hard to have enough but we have nothing to do. Small salaries, small pensions, nothing. How we're going to make it, I don't know," said Govori.

In recent months, every product has become more expensive and prices have increased, which has led to an increase in complaints from citizens because, as they expressed, they are finding it difficult to afford them.
