The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, congratulated Kosovo on its independence anniversary through a post on social media, also sharing a photo album from his visit to Pristina the previous day.
"GOOD MORNING 😊 with photos of my visit yesterday to Pristina, I wish Kosovo a happy independence," Rama wrote, while expressing regret that he could not be present at the popular manifestation of solidarity for the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, who are facing trial in The Hague.
He has described their situation as "the hell of international (in)justice", referring to the charges and the ongoing trial against four former KLA leaders at the Specialist Chambers.
