Distria Krasniqi has advanced without a fight to the eighth final of the European Judo Championship, which is being held in Podgorica, Montenegro.

The Kosovar contestant in this phase will have to deal with the Serbian contestant, Milica Nikolic, in the category up to 52 kilograms, writes "Gazeta Express".

Nikolic beat Russian contestant Karina Efimova in the first round.

Distria Krasniqi aims to win this match, but also this entire competition to be declared European champion.

Meanwhile, the other Kosovar competitor, Laurine Gashi, also in the 52 kilogram category, was eliminated in the first match after being defeated by Portuguese Raquel Brito.
