On August 16 and 17, 2025, in Osaka, Japan, Kosovo was proudly presented at Expo Osaka 2025 through two icons, Olympic champions Distria Krasniqi and Nora Gjakova.
In an extraordinary atmosphere filled with emotion, our champions shared with the Japanese audience the inspiring story of their success, their journey from small training halls in Kosovo to the top of world sport.
They performed unique demonstrations with children, providing smiles, motivation, and a powerful example of how sport unites cultures and generations.
Visitors had the opportunity to experience the spirit of Kosovar judo up close through photos, friendly conversations, and unforgettable moments, turning this event into an experience that will remain in the memory for a long time.
This was not only a moment of pride for Kosovo, but also a strong bridge of friendship and respect between the people of Kosovo and those of Japan.
