The Director of the Police for the Mitrovica Region, Afërdita Mikullovci, stated that the deployment of the Special Operations Unit (SOU) at checkpoints on Thursday evening in Skenderaj is a routine police and operational matter.
She said that these units are usually engaged in routine police cases and tasks.
"We are not responsible for the Special Unit, but we usually deploy the units for routine matters, police matters. It is a police matter, in every country there is such routine, operational matters," Mikullovci declared to Kallxo.com.
