Donika Gërvalla has said that she respects the serious statements that Fatos Geci made in the Kosovo Assembly against the former KLA leaders who are being tried by the Special Court, demanding the permanent imprisonment of Hashim Thaçi.
Blerta Deliu from PDK reacted to her, saying that she "disgraces her surname and family."
Deliu said that Gërvalla acts as a spokesperson for narratives against the KLA.

When the Minister of Justice behaves more as a spokesperson for anti-KLA narratives than as a defender of the dignity of her state, then we have a serious political and national problem.
Donika Gërvalla has been attacking the liberation war for years, while today people close to power are openly talking about life imprisonment for our liberators. And no one from the government is distancing themselves.
This is not “different politics.” This is submission to anti-Kosovo propaganda.
The people of this country did not bring anyone to power to tarnish the KLA's war, to remain silent in the face of injustice, and to appear patriotic only on Facebook.
Kosovo was built on the sacrifice of thousands of men and women who gave everything for freedom. Anyone who relativizes that war does not represent the soul of this country.
