The Board of the Kosovo Basketball Federation has decided that the deadline for licensing basketball clubs is September 25th.
The KBF further announces that this decision aims to set the deadline for fulfilling the licensing criteria by member clubs of the Kosovo Basketball Federation (KBF), in preparation for the new 2025/26 competition season.

Purpose
This decision aims to set the deadline for fulfilling the licensing criteria by member clubs of the Basketball Federation of Kosovo (FBK), in preparation for the new 2025/26 competition season.
Based on the proposal of the Secretary General, Ms. Elvira Dushku, and after review by the members of the FBK Board,
THE BOARD DECIDED:
Deadline for submission of documentation
All clubs that have not yet completed the required documentation for licensing are obliged to submit the documents within 5 working days from the date of this decision (25.09.2025).
After this deadline, clubs that have not yet met the criteria will not be able to obtain a license and, consequently, will not be included in the 2025/26 season competitions.

This decision is based on the principles of:
Equality and fairness, treating all clubs equally;
Transparency, by providing a clear and final deadline for meeting the criteria;
The integrity of the competition, ensuring that only clubs that meet minimum standards participate in the championships.
Application
The implementation of this decision is carried out by the Secretary General of the FBK.
The decision enters into force on the day of approval by the FBK Board.
