Dardan Cena has started the European Judo Championships, which are being held in Podgorica, Montenegro, on a good footing.
The Kosovar competitor passed the first round in the up to 73 kilogram category after defeating Israeli judoka Baruch Shmailove, writes "Gazeta Express".
Dardan Cena, who is the son of former famous Kosovar judoka, Anton Cena, will face Ukrainian Said-Magomed Khalidov in the second round of the competition.
Alongside Cena, another Kosovar judoka, Akil Gjakova, will also compete today.
