I do not consider politics as a static activity, that is, it evolves and changes form often, of course neither does orthodoxy in thoughts and actions, however, such behavior is a transition to the other end of ideology. Liburn Aliu has crossed the Rainbow. He has changed ideological gender

Writes: Noble Dragusha

The metaphor of crossing the rainbow implies a change of gender/sex, and its symbolism goes beyond sex change, it has to do with a radical change in attitudes, views and behavior. As such, it is used quite widely to describe the different situations of different people. In our political context, in the current government, it is not difficult to ascertain or find who has crossed the rainbow. He is the minister of the Kurti government, Mr. Liburn Aliu, a very important exponent of the cause of social justice, who was committed to general awareness of inequality. I address him by his first name in the hope that it is an isolated case within the government cabinet and that his behavior is not necessarily a reflection of the government's course. With the last interview he tried to clarify an allegation of misuse within his ministry, and in this mess he only removed the basic dilemmas of political orientation and action.

Rumored for a long time, even in the perception of public opinion, he has always been viewed with a dose of suspicion because he had employed his sister in the Kosovo Medical Chamber at the beginning. Liburn Aliu began to occupy a place in the media even in the pink column, resembling a businessman and media & film star, due to the purchase of a house in the luxurious Marigona Hill neighborhood. At the time of complete quarantine, it was rumored that Liburn Aliu's son, newly arrived from the USA, had not been quarantined in the student center, at a time when everyone had to submit to the two-week isolation rule set by the Ministry of Health. Liburn Aliu had educated his children in private, even elite institutions. Enough context!

The moral of this transgression lies precisely in the profound hypocrisy of the minister in question, who had based all of his political activity on the motives of equality of opportunity and chance, his ideal was for an egalitarian society, where nepotism as a phenomenon would belong to a decadent era, and all of his calls and political activity were to abandon these archaic forms of social and political organization, embracing progressive policies where there would be no such deep social discrepancy.

Within Mr. Ali's political-public discourse, there was an even cynical mockery of the isolation in luxurious neighborhoods and the avoidance of contact and routine with all the citizens of this country. For his discourse, they were the self-excluded ones who were seen with an almost contemptuous eye. On February 14, Mr. Ali received the civic trust to "co-govern" with the people, empathizing with them. A metamorphosis occurred in his behavior and attitudes mattered little.

In April of this year, Mr. Aliu signed a cooperation agreement with UBT College, a private college, "where the elites were reproduced", where he is also a lecturer and receives a large salary. In this way, he also puts the public University of Prishtina in the background.

Without any prejudice to his sister's intellectual preparation, however, employment in public institutions, as an exploitation of influence, is a return to the way of past governments. The house in the Marigona Hill neighborhood, with all the material cost and assuming that all means are legal, is again a pure abandonment of leftist beliefs and ideals, proclaimed for years. While the education of his sons at ASK and AUK, conveys the message that there is no sincerity in the approach towards the common good and that the education system must wait a few more years for what is called a radical reform in order to be worthy of being a school for the sons of the government cabinet.

I do not consider politics to be a static activity, meaning it evolves and changes form frequently, nor does orthodoxy in thoughts and actions, however, such behavior is a transition to the other extreme of ideology.

Liburn Aliu has transcended the Rainbow. He has changed ideological gender.
