Leonard Ademaj, the brother of Liridona Ademaj, who was allegedly brutally murdered by her husband, Naim Murseli, testified today before the trial panel at the Basic Court in Pristina.
He recounted the difficult moment when he received the news of his sister's murder.
"I was at a bar in my village working. My wife called me on the phone and said: They killed Liridona. Since there were so many people in the bar, I didn't hear well whether it was my sister Liridona or my uncle's son, also Liridona. Then it wasn't long before the second call came, she told me: Come home, they killed your sister, Liridona.", said Ademaj, reports Insider.
He added that he immediately ran home, picked up his parents, and took them to the Gjakova hospital to be given sedatives.
Then, together with them, they headed towards the UCCK.
Naim Murseli appeared in court after psychiatric examinations revealed that he is in a sound mental state and can continue further court hearings.
