Agents representing AC Milan striker Samuel Chukwueze are reportedly in Istanbul for meetings with Besiktas and Fenerbahçe, while Fulham are also closely monitoring his situation.
The Nigerian striker was a major investment from Villarreal in the summer of 2023, costing €21.1m plus up to €7m in bonuses. However, he failed to make a mark for the Rossoneri, contributing eight goals and six assists in 69 official matches over two seasons.
New coach Max Allegri doesn't seem very interested in keeping the player, but the main obstacle is that Milan are looking for a permanent sale, while Besiktas' offer was only a loan with an option to buy.
According to Calciomercato.com, his agent is currently in Istanbul to hold talks with both Turkish clubs. Meanwhile, Fulham are increasingly moving up in the race and are preparing an offer of their own.
It was previously reported that Fulham see Chukwueze as a potential replacement for Adama Traoré, who is wanted by Nottingham Forest, and now the English are intensifying efforts to secure the services of the attacking winger.
