Chelsea are set to complete the transfer of Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens after the German club confirmed an agreement has been reached.
The 20-year-old, part of the England U21 team, will cost the London club £48.5 million, plus £3.5 million in bonuses.
The two clubs, who are in the US for the Club World Cup, met in Fort Lauderdale to finalize the deal.
Dortmund said contract details were still being finalised, but BBC Sport reports that Gittens agreed a seven-year contract with Chelsea in June.
Gittens, who joined Dortmund from Manchester City in 2020, has scored 17 goals and 14 assists in 107 games for the German club.
He will not be able to play for Chelsea until after the Club World Cup.
