Chelsea secured their place in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup with a win over Brazilian side Palmeiras - despite Estevao Willian scoring against the club he is expected to join soon.
Cole Palmer scored the first goal in the 16th minute, and after Estevao equalized early in the second half, a Malo Gusto cross was deflected by defender Giay Agustin into his own net, sealing the victory for the Londoners.
However, many of the titles will go to teenage Brazilian talent Estevao, who scored a beautiful goal from a difficult angle in the 53rd minute. The 18-year-old Brazil international will complete a move to Chelsea in a deal that could be worth up to £52m.
Meanwhile, the Blues gave the debut to new £55m signing Joao Pedro, who joined from Brighton just two days ago. But Liam Delap and Levi Colwill picked up yellow cards and are suspended for the semi-final, while captain Reece James suffered an injury during the warm-up.
Chelsea will face Fluminense in the semi-finals at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Tuesday.
