The changes in the government cabinet were announced a few days ago by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who presented the new moves in the executive after a meeting of the Socialist parliamentary group.

After being decreed by the President and receiving a vote of confidence in the Assembly, the 7 new ministers, with their hands on the Constitution and after reading the oath formula, were sworn in, concluding the official procedure with the oath ceremony before the head of state.

Albana Koçiu was sworn in as Deputy Prime Minister;

Ferit Hoxha was sworn in as Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Besfort Lamallari was sworn in as Minister of the Interior;

Toni Gogu was sworn in as Minister of Justice;

Enea Karakaçi was sworn in as Minister of Infrastructure and Energy;

Ermal Nufi was sworn in as Minister of Defense;

Erjona Ismaili was sworn in as Minister for Parliamentary Relations;

After being sworn in before the President, the seven new ministers officially took office and are expected to immediately begin exercising their functions in the government cabinet.
