Four people lost their lives in a serious traffic accident that occurred today near Senj, when a car fell into the sea, the Lika-Senj Police Department announced.
The accident occurred at around 16:30 in the settlement of Bunica. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene and HGSS divers were also involved in the search.
Police announced that the bodies of two women and two men were removed from the vehicle.
An investigation will be conducted at the scene to determine the circumstances of the accident, while the bodies were transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Rijeka.
Due to strong winds, a traffic ban was imposed today for category I and II vehicles on the state road DC8 Senj-Karlobag. /Kosovapress
