Manchester United have missed out on the chance to sell Bruno Fernandes for around £100m this summer after he rejected an offer from Saudi Arabia to continue his career with the Red Devils.
Although another offer from Saudi Arabia could come next year, Fernandes is not interested in a move there.
He is expected to stay at United until the end of the season, while his contract is valid until 2027.
Sources close to the club point out that, if he leaves in the future, the Portuguese would prefer a major European club, although his market value will no longer reach £100 million.
