Britney Spears has deleted her personal Instagram account after posts that caused concern among her fans and a public confrontation with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, over what he reveals about their marriage in his new book.

As of Sunday, November 2, Spears' Instagram profile is no longer accessible. Specifically, when you search for her account name, a message appears that says "profile unavailable."

The deletion came after weeks of concern from fans about her strange and emotionally charged posts. Specifically, Britney Spears posted videos of herself dancing in her living room but disabled comments, while her captions contained cryptic references to her two sons, Sean Preston and Jaden James.

In a video she posted on Oct. 7, Spears appeared with bruises on her hands and bandages on her wrists. In the caption, she explained that she had fallen down the stairs, while also mentioning that her sons had returned to Hawaii, where they live with their father. “My boys were forced to leave and return to Maui,” she wrote. “This is how I express myself and pray through art. I don’t want your concern or pity, I just want to be a good woman and get well. And I have incredible support, so have a great day,” she added.

In the same post, she added: "I fell down the stairs at a friend's house. It was horrible. My shoulder pops out every now and then, I'm not sure if it's broken, but for now it's 'back' back in place. Thank God."

In a follow-up post on Oct. 19, Spears indirectly referenced the four-month stint she spent in a rehab center in 2018 while under 13 years of care. "I suffered brain damage," she wrote, describing the impact of that time on her life.

Meanwhile, in her ex-husband Kevin Federline's new book, "You Said You Knew," he makes a series of allegations about Spears, their marriage and her relationship with their sons. Excerpts from the writings published by the New York Times, USA Today and E! Online include accusations about her role as a mother, insinuations of infidelity and Federline's concerns that "something bad" might happen to her.

Spears responded on Oct. 15 via the X platform (formerly Twitter), accusing Federline of “constantly manipulating” her and defending her relationship with their children. “To love you unconditionally and with an innocent heart like mine, while threatening you or making you believe you’re the bad guy while they profit from your pain,” she wrote.
