UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer called on Iran and the US to "find a way out" after talks in Pakistan failed, the BBC reports.
In a conversation with the Sultan of Oman, Starmer said that the continuation of the ceasefire is "vital" and that "all parties avoided any further escalation."
This comes after British Health Secretary Wes Streeting told the BBC's "Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg" program that it was "disappointing" that initial talks to end the war in Iran broke down without a deal.
Streeting defended the United Kingdom's decision not to join the conflict.
