Black smoke has been seen coming out of the vicinity of the “Kosova A” Power Plant. KEK spokesperson, Skënder Bucolli, told Gazeta Express that there is nothing to worry about and that it is a case of burning some grass near the Power Plant.
He said that KEK firefighters are already at the scene, have localized the fire and are working to completely eliminate it.
"There is nothing to worry about. In some areas/separations at the "Kosova A" Thermal Power Plant (TCA), as a result of high temperatures, some grass has burned - a common phenomenon that also occurs in other countries under similar climatic conditions," Bucolli declared.
"The fire is being localized and the situation is under control. KEK firefighting teams are at the scene and are operating efficiently to ensure the management and complete elimination of the fire. So, there is no room for concern," he added. /Express/
