Inter defender Yann Bisseck is focused on the main objective, insisting he would happily accept losing both Milan derbies if it meant celebrating the Scudetto.
The Nerazzurri are now seven points clear at the top of the Serie A table, but the gap had been 10 points until last night's 1-0 defeat to their city rivals.
Milan had not won both editions of the "Derby della Madonnina" in a single Serie A season since the 2010-11 season, when they finally won the title under Max Allegri.
This season they won both matches against Inter by a score of 1-0, which gives them bragging rights, but Bisseck remains focused on the final objective.
"If there's one game we want to win, it's the derby and we haven't managed to do that for two years," the defender admitted at a charity event this evening.
"However, if you had told me at the start of the season that we would lose two derbies but then win the Scudetto, then I would have accepted it," he added.
The title is still not certain, as Inter have a seven-point lead with 10 games to play.
"This is a good advantage, but 10 weeks is a long time and we still have work to do," he continued.
Bisseck was rumoured to be moving to the Premier League last summer, so he was asked if he was happy with the interest that is expected to come again.
"When you play well, there are many clubs that want you, but I am focused on Inter," he concluded./Express newspaper/
