The Kosovo women's volleyball team (duo Amela Llugaliu and Driola Ajvazi), led by coach Edon Ibrahimi, has successfully started the U22 Balkan Championship taking place in Tetovo.
The Kosovo girls achieved a great and well-deserved victory over North Macedonia in the first match of this regional competition.
After a difficult start and a loss in the first set, Llugaliu and Ajvazi reacted strongly, dominating the second set and showing composure and character in the decisive moments of the third set. With a 2:1 victory in sets, they gave Kosovo a perfect start in this championship.
The next matches are expected to be equally difficult, but this victory gives clear signals that Kosovo is ready to compete for more in this tournament.
