The GO+ Peja basketball club has reacted with an open letter to the Referees Association, after last night's match against KB Bashkimi, expressing deep concern about the administration of justice in this match.

The reaction of the Peja club's Board emphasizes that the loss is accepted as a sporting responsibility, but that some referee decisions, according to them, cannot be passed over without being addressed.

In particular, the case of the request for review (“IRS”) is mentioned, where according to the club, referee Eldin Uglari stated that the contact “was not intentional”, while the first referee, Ngadhnjim Shabani, took over the final decision.

The Peja fans also raise doubts about the referral criteria, highlighting the huge difference in free throws – 24 for the home team and only 2 for them – as well as several decisions in the final minutes of the match, which, according to them, directly affected the course of the game.

The final score was 74:68 in favor of the Union.

The letter mentions several specific situations, including cases of coordinated steps without a foul being called in advance, an episode in the middle of the field where a request for an "IRS" was rejected by coach Damir Milačić, as well as a moment where the Union coach allegedly interfered with player Fatlind Shoshaj without being punished with a technical foul.

However, GO+ Peja has clearly condemned any form of violence, referring to the recent events in Gjakova, and stressed that their team did not have any inappropriate reactions during the match, despite the dissatisfaction.

At the end of the reaction, the club calls on the Kosovo Basketball Federation to be vigilant and seriously examine all disputed cases, demanding measures against those who, according to them, are damaging the integrity of the competition.

"Mistakes are part of the game, but justice must remain a priority," says, among other things, the response of the GO+ Peja Board, which calls for professionalism and equal standards in the distribution of justice in the Super League./Express newspaper/
